Bears

Provides bears for children in trauma - distributed by emergency personnel when needed.

Duffle Bags for Foster Children

Provides a duffle bag to children entering the foster care system or to those moving to different foster homes. An emergency clothing voucher may also be included.

Foothill Family Shelter

Assisteens host three annual parties for the children at the shelter - in August, December and in spring. Each child is treated to school supplies, goodies, games and gifts.

Operation School Bell®

Provides clothing for elementary schoolchildren referred to us by nurses in area schools.

Operation School Bell Grooming Kits

Provides health and grooming kits for elementary schoolchildren who attend Operation School Bell. A project of the Assisteens Auxiliary.

San Antonio Community Hospital Dental Center

Dental care is provided to children in kindergarten through grade 8 whose parents have no other means of accessing needed treatment, and who are referred to us by nurses in the schools.

Tutoring Services

Las Tias auxiliary provides monies to a local program in which high school students from nine area schools tutor their peers on campus.
